The drug testing industry has its roots in 1980s-era Drug War paranoia. Thirty years later, it has ballooned to a multi-billion dollar industry operating at the expense of the working class. In spite of state-wide legalization efforts, mandatory drug screens for job seekers remain prevalent throughout the country.
